This free seminar is for board directors, CEOs, GMs, CFOs, fundraising and development staff from cultural and arts organisations to learn more about endowments and foundations. Drawing on experience from the cultural, education and medical research sectors. Six case studies will stimulate discussion and learnings.

Registration is essential. This is a free event and numbers are limited. It is open to Board Members only of all arts and cultural organisations, not just performing arts organisations. For staff of arts and cultural organisations, the Sydney Arts Management Advisory Group (SAMAG) will be hosting an event on the same topic on 25 June.
Better Public Services
One of the Government's priorities is delivering better public services within tight financial constraints. The Better Public Services Programme was launched by the Prime Minister John Key on 15 March 2012, to give effect to this Government priority.
This programme applies to all departments and state sector entities. The page on the DPMC website detailing this priority.
2 March Quake -hit cultural collections receive boost
The Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage announces funding from the Christchurch Appeal Fund and the Government to support the restoration, storage and rehabilitation of heritage and cultural collections displaced by the Canterbury Earthquake. The centre will be at the Air Force Museum at Wigram and be supported by expertise from Te Papa National Services. The full details are on the Minister's website.
