The Broadcasting Unit provides a strategic focus for the government's broadcasting work, facilitating the creation, delivery, visibility and impact of New Zealand cultural content. The Unit is responsible for the provision of briefings and policy broadcasting issues, including legislation, major policy proposals, and developments and initiatives which have significance to the broadcasting sector.
