Reference Group
The Reference Group was formed in July 2002. The team is responsible for producing two major reference works for New Zealanders:
- Te Ara: the Encyclopedia of New Zealand. Work on this exciting web project began in July 2002, and the first themes are now live at www.teara.govt.nz
- The Dictionary of New Zealand Biography. This is now in both print form as five volumes and a website (www.dnzb.govt.nz).
