Commemorating Waitangi Day Fund

New Zealand History Research Trust

The New Zealand History Research Trust offers financial assistance to people carrying out book projects that will significantly enhance the understanding of New Zealand's past.

From 2011 the History Research Trust Fund will also consider applications for grants from publishers. Although preference will be given to publishing the work of Trust Fund Award winners, other works of special historical significance will be considered. Publishers must supply a synopsis and sample chapter and agree to publish within two years of being awarded a grant.
