Commemorating Waitangi Day Fund

The Commemorating Waitangi Day Fund supports events that commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, and promote nation and community building. The fund aims to encourage a wider mix of communities to take part in Waitangi Day events.

New Zealand History Research Trust

The New Zealand History Research Trust offers financial assistance to people carrying out book projects that will significantly enhance the understanding of New Zealand's past.

The History Research Trust Fund will also consider applications for grants from publishers. Although preference will be given to publishing the work of Trust Fund Award winners, other works of special historical significance will be considered. Publishers must supply a synopsis and sample chapter and agree to publish within two years of being awarded a grant.

New Zealand Oral History

The New Zealand Oral History Awards provide financial help for projects using oral resources relating to the history of New Zealand and New Zealand's close connections with the Pacific.
