The Government has received the New Zealand Film Commission review report. The review was conducted by New Zealand film-maker, Sir Peter Jackson and David Court, Head of Screen Business at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School.
The report includes a number of recommendations. The Ministry has been working on responses to the report in consultation with the Film Commission and key stakeholders.
You can download the full report as a pdf document from our research reports page which includes public submissions received in 2009.
In June 2011, the government released its work programme considering government support for the screen sector, including its response to the 2010 review of the New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) by Sir Peter Jackson and David Court.
