Hosting an event at Pukeahu: guidelines & protocols This document outlines protocols and relevant information to help you plan your event at Pukeahu. Event zonesZone one: Eastern Terraces Terraced gardens including the Pacific, Belgium, and US memorials. Event power available from the Education Centre.Zone two: Anzac Square/central park Central area with grass spaces, the Turkish Memorial, pavilion, and public facilities. No commercial food or drink in Anzac Square.Zone three: Western TerracesIncludes the French Memorial and pavilion. Near the busy Taranaki Street – follow health and safety requirements.Zone four: National War Memorial Covers the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, Carillon Tower, and Hall of Memories. This area is wāhi tapu (sacred) and is for commemorative events only.Zone five: Hall of Memories Indoor space honouring New Zealanders who served and died in conflict. Capacity 120.
