The Strategic Framework for a Sustainable Media System has been published today, providing a roadmap to guide the work that Manatū Taonga - Ministry for Culture and Heritage - can do in partnership with the media sector to support a vibrant, trusted and diverse media system in Aotearoa.

Appointments to the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa

Bonita Bigham (Ngaruahine, Te Atiawa) and Whetū Fala (Ngā Rauru, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Maru ki Taranaki, Sāmoa, Rotuma) have been appointed to the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa (Creative New Zealand’s governing body) by Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage Hon Carmel Sepuloni.

Government ensures artists get resale royalties

The Government is establishing an Artist Resale Royalty Scheme to ensure the creators of visual arts are recognised and rewarded when their work is resold on the secondary art market.

Awakairangai Waka Relocation
